1. Issuance of Building Permit

  • Who may avail: Building owner / applicant

  • Requirements:

    • Zoning permit/clearance

    • DOLE certification/clearance

    • Accomplished application form (signed/sealed by licensed engineer/architect)

    • 5 sets of signed/sealed plans

    • Land title / deed of sale / deed of donation

    • Vicinity map (signed/sealed by geodetic engineer)

    • Structural design (for 2-storey & above)

    • Bill of materials & cost estimates

    • Specifications

  • Steps: Secure and submit forms & plans → Site inspection & evaluation → Endorse to BFP/DOLE → Pay fees → Receive permit

  • Fee: Based on PD 1096 (National Building Code), DPWH MC 1 s.2004, and Fire Code of the Philippines

  • Processing Time: 4 days & 1 hour

2. Issuance of Occupancy Permit

  • Who may avail: Building owner / applicant

  • Requirements:

    • Fire Department certification

    • As-built plan (signed/sealed by licensed engineer)

    • Logbook

  • Steps: Secure form → Submit plans & requirements → Pay fees → Processing & approval → Receive occupancy permit

  • Fee: Occupancy permit fee (per PD 1096 and DPWH MC 1 s.2004)

  • Processing Time: 3 hours

3. Issuance of Electrical Permit

  • Who may avail: Building owner / applicant

  • Requirements:

    • Zoning certification

    • Fire Department electrical connection certification

    • Electrical layout (signed by Professional Electrical Engineer)

  • Steps: Submit layout & requirements → Assessment & inspection → Endorse to BFP → Pay fees → Receive electrical permit

  • Fee: Electrical permit fee (per PD 1096 and DPWH MC 1 s.2004)

  • Processing Time: 1 day & 1 hour
